Sam Cox is Chief Product Officer at adMarketplace, where he focuses on AI search monetization and product innovation.

Prior to joining adMarketplace, Sam served as SVP of Product Management at Integral Ad Science, where he led the turnaround of the company’s programmatic business. Before that, he was Director of Product Management at Amazon and the single-threaded leader of Amazon DSP, Amazon’s enterprise advertising platform for brands and agencies.

Earlier in his career, Sam was Group Product Manager at Google, where he led products including AdX, Google’s real-time ad exchange. During his tenure, he helped create Ads.txt, an initiative that eliminated more than $1.6 billion in annual fraud from the global advertising ecosystem. He also helped build Exchange Bidding and Open Bidding into businesses generating over $1 billion in revenue within three years.

Sam has also served on the executive team at LiftDNA, a supply-side platform acquired by OpenX, and was CEO of Milabra, an early machine learning platform.

In addition to his operating roles, Sam is an angel investor and Limited Partner focused on advertising and marketing technology companies. His interests in sustainability and off-grid living have also led him to invest in companies such as Tivoli Mushrooms and Den Outdoors.

He divides his time between New York City and his farm in upstate New York.
